Built From Listening to Patients

Well Health Supply was founded because we saw a distinct gap in patient care across Southern Arizona that needed to be addressed.

Before starting Well Health Supply, I owned and operated Lexicon Supply, a medical supply company serving healthcare providers and patients in Tucson, Arizona. Every week, patients would call or visit our store looking for medical supplies that could be covered through their insurance. Unfortunately, because Lexicon Supply was not structured as an insurance-based Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider, we often had to refer those patients to large, national DME companies.

Over time, something became clear.

Many of those same patients would call us back.

They told us they couldn't get a live person on the phone. They were frustrated by long hold times, delayed shipments, confusing insurance requirements, and extreme difficulty getting answers to simple questions. Some patients had been waiting weeks for supplies they depended on every single day. Others felt like they were being treated as an account number rather than a person.

After hearing these stories over and over again, we knew there had to be a better way. That's why Well Health Supply was created.
